Take your genealogical research to the next level with our 6-session Intermediate Genealogy Course. This course is designed for those who have a basic understanding of genealogy and are ready to deepen their research skills. Over six detailed sessions, you will explore more advanced techniques, tools, and resources to help you uncover elusive ancestors, solve complex family mysteries, and expand your family tree.

Throughout the course, you will:

Session 1: Advanced Record Analysis – Learn how to critically analyze and interpret a wide range of records, including probate, land, and military documents, to uncover deeper insights into your ancestors' lives.


Session 2: Using DNA in Genealogy – Discover how to integrate DNA testing into your research, including understanding test results, identifying matches, and using genetic tools to solve genealogical puzzles.


Session 3: Breaking the Lock on Blocked Doors – Develop strategies for tackling difficult research challenges, including finding alternative sources, working with conflicting evidence, and using advanced search techniques.


Session 4: Researching Overseas Ancestors – Gain expertise in tracing ancestors from other countries, including understanding foreign records, language barriers, and accessing international databases.


Session 5: Organizing and Documenting Research – Master best practices for organizing your research, maintaining accurate documentation, and creating clear, thorough citations for your sources.


Session 6: Writing and Sharing Your Family History – Learn how to craft compelling narratives from your research findings and share your family’s story through writing, presentations, or publishing.


By the end of this course, you will have refined your research skills, gained confidence in handling more complex genealogical tasks, and developed a deeper understanding of your family's history.
